Dream Big Kids was an idea that was launched after the birth of my first grandchild. We are a small group of parents and grandparents who believe that time spent reading to children is one of the most important things we can do. Together, we are excited to inspire children to reach new heights.
Welcome to Dream Big Kids, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization committed to empowering children through reading. Our mission is simple: to provide books and promote literacy for children.
At Dream Big Kids, we believe that reading is the foundation for success in life. It opens up new worlds and possibilities, sparks the imagination, and inspires creativity. Reading to a child also helps build a strong bond between the child and the reader, whether it be a parent, grandparent, or other caregiver. That’s why we’re dedicated to ensuring that every pre-school child living in Huffman, Texas has access to books and the chance to discover the magic of reading.
We are proud to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to bring high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth to age five. Through this partnership, children can receive a free book each month, mailed directly to their home. The program is designed to inspire a love of reading from an early age and to help children develop the skills they need to succeed academically and in life.
We believe that every child has the potential to achieve great things. By promoting literacy and providing access to books, we hope to give children the tools they need to dream big and reach their full potential.
